Dracoon sponsors the 25th International Short Film Week

IT-company provides secure data exchange solution for submitting films

Regensburg 27th February 2019 – The File Sync & Share specialist DRACOON is supporting the 25th International Short Film Week. Once again it will take place in Regensburg from 13th to 24th March 2019. To make the submission process more comfortable and even safer, the leading IT-company in the German speaking area provided its cloud.

Every year, the sighting groups of the international short film week Regensburg choose the best films from more than 1,000 submissions. The individual competition blocks are made up of these, which are then shown to the audience and a high-calibre jury. The international competition includes productions from all over the world. The German competition on the other hand consists of German productions only. Regional and local short films are also shown in the Bavarian and Regional Window.

DRACOON is a repeatedly certified solution “Made and Hosted in Germany” and provides all components necessary for secure data exchange. Even large data packages can be quickly transferred via upload-link. Simultaneously the organisers of the short film week receive a message that new data has been uploaded into the cloud.

Thankful for the technical support: Insa Wiese and Philipp Weber

“For us as a Regensburg company it is very important to support local arts and culture. As visitors we have been repeatedly amazed by the international short film week. That is why we seized the opportunity to technically support the festival this year”, says Marc Schieder, CIO DRACOON.

“We are very happy to have found the support of a local but nonetheless internationally established company with DRACOON. It supports us as a sponsor with its core competence, the secure and fast data exchange and therefore makes the process of submitting films even more comfortable”, emphasises Philipp Weber, the technical manager of the international film week, who is in charge of the organisation together with Insa Wiese.
