Every company has employees who have to repeatedly send or receive large files. This is usually carried out using a simple ad hoc data transfer (level 1).
If several employees or external parties need to work on these files, however, the company also needs to implement a collaboration solution (level 2).
In order to meet the security requirements for central administration and a central file sharing solution at the company, the collaboration solution needs to be extended to include an enterprise file sync and share solution (level 3). This can also be integrated into computer desktops and mobile devices.
New legislation such as the GDPR, authorization policies in sensitive departments, and modern working methods require companies to rethink their approach, however – enterprise file services including sync and share can be introduced parallel to the existing file server or file service and offer numerous advantages:
Needed by: 5-10% of employees
Needed by: 10-15% of employees
Needed by: 25-50% of employees
Demand: 50-100% of employees
